Visitor Information

Travelling to Bristol

Arriving into Bristol Airport. Taxis can be booked in advance of your arrival to take you to your hotel from https://www.bristolairport.co.uk/to-and-from-the-airport/taxis/. Alternatively, you can opt to take the A1 airport bus to the city centre: https://flyer.bristolairport.co.uk/timetables.

Arriving into London. Heathrow (LHR) is best for connections to Bristol, as it is closest.

National Express runs buses from all of London’s main airports to Bristol Bus & Coach Station. We recommend this as the most convenient way to get to Bristol, as it avoids Central London. Alternatively, there are regular trains from London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads. For more information, including transit to the university itself, check out the University of Bristol website.
